Feeding Directions:
• Select a meal and prepare the recipe as instructed at mealmixfordogs.com by combining Meal Mix Multivitamin and Mineral Supplement Mix for Adult Dogs packets with fresh food ingredients as specified in the recipe.
• Feed as directed according to the recipe.
• Do not use Meal Mix with other pet foods or without the complete recipe as some nutrients may exceed AAFCO safe upper limits. Do not use more or less packets than instructed as nutrient excesses or deficiencies may occur.
• Meal Mix does not create nutritionally balanced meals with seafood or fish. Do not use Meal Mix packets without combining with food.
• Sample Recipe for a 1 lb. 2 oz. Meat & Vegetable Meal
- 12 oz. Meat or Poultry", weighed raw (85-92% learn beef", chicken", venison", rabbit or turkey)
- 6 oz. Vegetables (do not use onions)
- 2 g Marine-Sourced Omega-3 Fatty Acids
- 1 Packet of Meal Mix
1. In mixing bowl", combine meat", either lightly cooked or served raw", finely chopped vegetables (cooked or raw)", and a Meal Mix packet. If cooking meat", do not drain fat.
• Note: Rotate types of meats and vegetables for optimal nutrition. If using beef or venison exclusively and not rotating with poultry", add 1 tsp. of either sunflower", safflower", or walnut oil to balance fats.
2. Mix well", then divide into appropriate daily portions for your dog and serve as indicated by he chart below. Add 2 g of marine-sourced omega-3 fatty acids just before serving.
