Hawthorn
with Hibiscus
• Personality - Crataegus monogyna Hibiscus sabdariffa
Hearty and supportive.
• Herbal Power
Promotes heart health.*
• Reason to Love
One of the earliest references to the use of heart-helping hawthorn comes from Greek herbalist Dioscorides", in the first century A.D. Our herbalists combined the leaf", flower and berry of the widely loved hawthorn tree - more like a tall shrub - with tartly pleasing hibiscus to create this deeply red heart tonic. We love the way it helps your heart's use of energy and supports overall cardiovascular health.*
• Taste
Fruity", floral", pleasantly sweet and tart.
organic Hawthorn with Hibiscus
Native to Southern Europe and Asia", hawthorn has been well-loved and widely used for centuries", especially for its ability to tone the heart.* The tree itself is more like a tall", dense shrub - in some countries its common name translates to "hedge thorn" because of its fast-growing", thorny capacity to create living barriers.
The hawthorn leaves", berries and flowers in this tea are carefully hand-picked", ensuring that they meet our quality standards.
We've Got the Right Stuff
We raise the bar. The quality standard of the herbs we use is hard to pronounce", difficult to meet", and it's what makes us different", better. We're not ashamed to say it. Pharmacopeial: it's the only quality standard our herbalists can rely on when blending teas for your health and wellness.
